ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಅಕ್ರಮ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಭಾರತದ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಜರುಗಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮ 30.19 ಕೋಟಿ ನಗದು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನೀತಿ ಸಂಹಿತೆ ಜಾರಿಯಾದ ಮಾ.16ರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರ ಪಡೆಗಳು, ಸ್ಥಿರ ಕಣ್ಗಾವಲು ತಂಡಗಳು, ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆದಾಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ, ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 30,19,88,517 ರೂ. ನಗದನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆದಾಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 2.20 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ಸ್ಥಿರ ಕಣ್ಗಾವಲು ತಂಡದವರು, ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಮೇದಕ್ ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ 35 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮಾಚಗೊಂಡನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 45 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಚುನಾವಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

1,75,43,093 ಉಚಿತ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, 1,31,92,49,175 ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 1,32, 59,894.85 ಲೀಟರ್ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.3,13,55,960 ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 287.18 ಕೆಜಿ ತೂಕದ ಮಾದಕವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. 9,93,80,132 ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 16.02 ಕೆಜಿ ಚಿನ್ನ, 27,23,150 ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 59.04 ಕೆಜಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ 9 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 21.17 ಕ್ಯಾರೆಟ್ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ವಜ್ರಾಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
